B&D Crane Hire Pty Ltd has been operating mobile and tower cranes in the ACT since 2002.

B&D is a locally owned company with its two directors: - Bob Taylor and Dan Phillips having over forty years experience in the crane industry nationally and internationally. B&D have one of the largest mobile crane fleets and are currently the only tower crane and Alimak based company in the ACT and surrounding regions.

B&D also have full time crane and plant technicians, supervised by Dan Phillips who is only a phone call away. There is no down time on B&D plant and equipment or waiting time for technicians from Sydney.

B&D employ over 35 permanent local crane crews and riggers, also with a wide range of casual skilled labour hire, who are only too eager to help under the watchful eye of our experienced superviser Bob Barnes.

We have an engineering service to oversee and design special requirements outside of the normal. All B&D plant and equipment are Work Cover approved and maintained well over the current Australian Standards. A copy of our safety plan is always available and all of our employees are work specific inducted. We have a full time Occupational Health & Safety Manager, Bruce Fuller, who will provide all necessary documentation for your project.
